Terms of Services
Welcome to Bowen Health (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“TOS”) govern your use of our website located at www.bowenhealthyu.com (the “Site”) and any related services, including but not limited to in-person sessions, classes, events, online booking, and SMS/text messaging (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these TOS and our Privacy Policy (and Cookie Policy, if applicable). If you do not agree with these TOS, please do not use our Site or Services.
1. Description of Services
Bowen Health provides massage therapy and wellness-related services, which may include Bowenwork manual therapy, sound-based relaxation sessions, vibroacoustic modalities, red light therapy, breathwork, relaxation-focused classes, and related supportive wellness services. Services may be provided to adults, children, and infants under the conditions outlined below.
Services are provided in person at our location(s) or designated event spaces. The Site is used to share information, schedule appointments, process payments through third-party platforms, and communicate with clients.
1.1 No Substitute for Medical Advice
Bowen Health is not a medical provider. Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, nor replace care from a licensed healthcare professional.
Infant and minor services are supportive, observational, and educational in nature and are not intended to assess or treat medical or developmental conditions.
1.2 No Guarantee of Outcomes
Individual responses vary. Bowen Health makes no guarantees regarding outcomes or results from any Service.
2. Eligibility, Minors & Infant Services
2.1 Adults (18+)
Clients age 18 and older may consent to and receive Services independently.
2.2 Children Under 16
- A parent or legal guardian must provide written informed consent prior to any Service.
- A parent or legal guardian must be physically present at all times during the Service.
- No exceptions are made to consent or presence requirements.
- Bowenwork and other hands-on services for children are performed by the practitioner within the scope of licensed massage therapy.
Bowen Health reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Services if consent or presence requirements are not met.
2.3 Older Minors (Ages 16–17)
- A parent or legal guardian must provide written informed consent prior to the first session.
- Consent must be on file before Services are rendered.
- Parents or guardians may permit the minor to arrive independently for appointments.
- Parent or guardian presence during the session is not required once consent is provided.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for intake accuracy, transportation decisions, communication preferences, and ongoing consent.
Bowen Health reserves the right to require parent presence or decline Services if circumstances warrant.
2.4 Infant Services & Infant Massage Classes
Bowen Health provides infant services under two distinct formats:
Infant Massage Classes (Instructional)
- Infant massage classes are instructional in nature.
- The parent or legal guardian performs the massage on their infant under practitioner guidance.
- Bowen Health provides education, demonstration, and supervision only.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present, attentive, and responsible at all times.
Individual Infant Wellness Sessions (Practitioner-Performed)
- Bowen Health may provide hands-on, non-medical wellness services directly to the infant within the scope of licensed massage therapy.
- Written informed consent from a parent or legal guardian is required prior to services.
- A parent or legal guardian must be physically present at all times.
- Services are gentle, supportive, and do not replace pediatric or medical care.
Bowen Health reserves the right to decline or discontinue infant services if, in professional judgment, services are not appropriate or consent requirements are not met.
3. Electronic Communications & SMS/Text Messaging
By using the Site, booking Services, or providing contact information, you consent to receive electronic communications, including email and SMS messages.
3.1 SMS Messaging
Messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, class notifications, and optional promotions.

Bowen Health does not sell or share mobile numbers for third-party marketing.
4. Appointments, Payment & Cancellation
4.1 Scheduling, Payment & Payment Methods on File
Appointments may be scheduled through Vagaro, by phone, or by email. Payments are processed securely through third-party platforms.
Clients may choose to securely store payment information on file with our booking system for convenience, including for future appointments, packages, or promotions.
Bowen Health may require a valid payment method on file to:
- Hold or confirm appointments
- Enforce cancellation or no-show policies
- Reserve classes, events, or limited-availability services
Bowen Health does not store full payment card details directly. All payment information is encrypted and managed by authorized third-party payment processors in accordance with their security standards.
By booking Services, you authorize Bowen Health and its payment processors to charge the payment method on file for:
- Scheduled Services
- Applicable cancellation or no-show fees
- Approved packages or promotions
4.2 Cancellation Policy
- 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.
- Emergencies may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed exceptions.
5. Classes, Events & Packages
Certain Services may have additional terms disclosed at booking, including attendance requirements or expiration dates.
6. Photo, Video & Media Consent
Bowen Health respects client privacy. No photos or recordings are taken without explicit written consent.
6.1 Permitted Uses with Consent
With consent, images or recordings may be used for:
- Educational or instructional purposes
- Practitioner documentation
- Before-and-after posture or movement observations
- Training or professional development
- Marketing or informational materials (only if specifically authorized)
6.2 Consent & Revocation
- Consent is voluntary and not required for Services.
- Consent for minors or infants must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
- Consent may be revoked in writing at any time for future use.
Bowen Health does not sell images or release them to third parties without authorization.
6.3 Before & After Documentation
Some Services may include non-diagnostic visual documentation for educational and progress-tracking purposes. These materials:
- Are not medical records
- Do not constitute diagnosis or treatment
- Remain within massage therapy scope
Participation is optional and requires consent.
7. Privacy Policy
Use of the Site and Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All Site content is the property of Bowen Health and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Third-Party Links
Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.
10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Services are provided “AS IS” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bowen Health is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or Services.
11. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. Claims must be brought individually.
12. Governing Law
These TOS are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
13. Modifications
We may update these TOS at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
14. Severability & Waiver
If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These TOS and related policies constitute the entire agreement between you and Bowen Health.
